Artis is a Contemporary Israeli Art Fund supporting and promoting Israeli art in New York and around the world. This agenda required a site with a focus on visual and time based content, in a magazine format, which would still not require a whole magazine desk. The solution involved smart filtering mechanisms, integration of Twitter, custom galleries, aggregated artist pages and galleries, events and calendar system, integration with Google Maps for recommended art tours and a custom designed newsletter. We have teamed with Linnovate and built the site on the Drupal CMS.

A network of dynamic and customizable blog themes for the Upgrade international network. Each node sets its blog on a unique url and each post and event announcements is channeled through the network and displayed on a world map, a shared calendar, and sidebars. MoMA.org

Social and personalized features for the MoMA.org website using ShiftSpace as a platform for social web applications. As a part of the project we have socialized the MoMA collections, allowing users to collect their favorite art-work, curate sets and share them with other users. We have also interfaced the site with cellphone technology, and museum visitors can now send a text message and have an artwork saved to their online MoMa.org collection.

While the Internet’s design is widely understood to be open and distributed, control over how users interact online has given us largely centralized and closed systems. ShiftSpace is an Open Source platform that attempts to subvert this trend by providing a new public space on the web. By pressing the [Shift] + [Space] keys, a ShiftSpace user can invoke a new meta layer above any web page to browse and create additional interpretations, contextualizations and interventions using various authoring tools. Being an open source software, ShiftSpace is an ongoing collaboration.

Twin sites for the Israeli Center for Digital Art. One is for the Digital art center – for it’s exhibitions and various programs. The other is for the video archives located in the center and made to enable people to go through the catalog of videos stored there.

A portfolio site for one of Israel’s leading design firms specializing in branding. The site makes use of both Flash and Ajax technologies to deliver a mix of fluid user experience and a unique graphic statement. Navigation allows to surf through Hebrew, English or Chinese.

Website for the internationally acclaimed game and toy designers. The site’s navigation is inspired by Theora’s classic ‘Guess Who’ game, and like in the user filters Theora’s huge database based on the questions she chooses to ask.
